I find rogue/troop combinations differs depending on whether I am doing GE, GvG, GBG and Continent map. One thing I have realized is that the 1/7 is not the be all and end all in fighting. It needs you to put thought and effort into working out how to get the best out of all aspects of the game, particularly battle strategies. This is not a 'ZAPZAP' win the easy pretend battle and take the goodies game. And the Reason I hated them was that I was always getting beaten by the dang things. As a result the good old 1/7 attack always beat my DA. But that was before I took the time to figure them out. Came up with all sorts of reasons and excuses why they were bad for the game and why I would not use them.

The particular individuals who assured me that such a change was 'impossible' did not opine as to >WHY< it was 'impossible', only that it was. If such a change to the AI were made, would enough of the PTW crowd up and leave the game? Who knows? But Inno must suspect that the backlash would be enough to hurt their bottom line significantly enough that they refuse to make the obvious change.

Pay To Win players, because their purchases fund the game to a significant degree, have voices which are disproportionately loud compared to their numbers (remember: money talks- loudly!). I would imagine that the number of 'pay to win' people in that category is higher (probably much higher) that their numbers as a part of the whole player base.

I'm still not sure I buy that because the AI is already written into the game, albeit elsewhere.īut if it is 'impossible' because it would hack off some portion of their player base, well that's not 'impossible' but merely 'unpopular'.
